| In your state possibly some of the items you have on your car are illegal and or you did something illegal and it gives the officer/deputy the reason to run your tag to see if your suspended, driving record, ect... as for being behind you and having bright head lights, chances are your on a dark road and being as close as they are with normal head lights with your eyes adjusted to night the head lights from the officer/deputy patrol car could seem brighter then they actually are. I can tell you this... I dont get right up on someone unless I plan on stopping them for something they did or have done.
